| Berger/Cummins understands safety concerns, particulary those that arise in rapidly transitioning theatres and hostile environments. We apply an integrated approach to safety and security at all phases of operation, a fact which is exemplified by our excellent safety record. Our program adheres to the requirements of the US Army Corps of Engineers' Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1), the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and all local fire and safety regulations. We place responsibility and accountability for safety at all levels of program management, from the Program Manager to field site management to individual employees. All employees are trained in CPR, and each site hosts weekly safety briefings to ensure that our staff has the most up to date safety training and information. This ensures a safe and secure environment not only for our personnel but for our clients and end-users as well. | |
